Finance Specialist

Perform general financial duties, utilizing accounting software.  Creates financial reports using Microsoft Excel and accounting software programs. Prepare encumbrances and budget revisions. Prepare monthly invoices for various programs. Draw down of grant dollars and record cash receipt. Reconcile accounts receivable. Process payments for retirement contributions and loan payments. Perform other tasks assigned by Director of Finance.

Associates degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance. Experience with general accounting practices including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions. Proficient in accounting software use. Communication skills/customer service experience a must. Knowledge of generally accepted financial practices, ability to follow federal/state regulations. Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Excel.
